We have made excellent progress and are about half a day ahead of schedule.
We take our time in the morning to refill the water and empty the toilets on the motorhome. It's a very beautiful area and it would be nice to come back here when we have more time.
The 'Garuti' Campsite holiday village (where we stayed) is situated in the garden of the old 'Villa Garuti and extends over an area of 15,000 sq.m.
After a relaxing morning we head on our way.
We continue to make good time, and drive to the port at Venice. Unfortunately, we can't change our tickets and will have to wait for a day to go on the ferry that we have booked on.
With some difficulty, we find a campsite. It is well worth it. Camping Fusina faces the lagoon directly opposite Venice near the mouth of Brenta Canal.
There is a restaurant on the site so we dine on Italian pizza and beer!
