We take car to the Faliro Sports Pavillion. We have a bit of trouble finding somewhere to park, and a Greek lady berates us for parking in front of her house (at least, I think that was what the problem was!), but there is no reason why we shouldn’t.

Taekwondo

I can’t pretend to say that I understand the scoring system or anything that was happening in front of us. However, I can say that the action was fast and furious and we enjoyed it. Paul Green was Britain’s best medal hope in this sport, but we see him eliminated in the Quarter-finals.

Mu Yen Chu (Chinese Taipei) beat Oscar Francisco Salazar Blanco (Mexico) by points (5-1) to win the Gold Medal. Tamer Bayoumi (Egypt) beat Juan Ramos (Spain) by points (7-1) to secure the Bronze. Ramos had qualified through the Repechage system when Mu Yen Chu qualified for the final.
